Terms of Service

Disclosures

1. Pre-Existing and Unforeseen Vehicle Damage

Austin Film Solutions cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing or unforeseen vehicle damage, including but not limited to:

  • Paint failure (e.g., factory respray, collision center repaint, or adhesive strength issues during PPF removal)

  • Panel damage (common with window tint reinstallation)

  • Glass imperfections or panel alignment issues (e.g., hood or hatch alignment)

  • Headlight delamination or other age-related defects

2. Battery Performance

  • Due to the nature of our services, vehicles may be left with doors, trunks, or lights open for extended periods, which can lead to battery drain.

  • If a vehicle's battery fails while in our care, Austin Film Solutions reserves the right to safely jump-start the vehicle to complete services.

  • Customers are encouraged to inform us of any known battery issues prior to service.

3. Window Tint Specific Terms

  • Small imperfections, such as dust particles or slight edge gaps, may occur during the tint installation process and are considered normal within industry standards.

  • Austin Film Solutions is not responsible for pre-existing issues with glass, including scratches, chips, or manufacturer imperfections that may become more visible after tint installation.

  • Bubbles or haze are common during the tint curing process and may take up to 30 days to fully dissipate. If issues persist beyond this time, please contact us for inspection.

4. Paint Protection Film (PPF) Specific Terms

  • Austin Film Solutions is not responsible for pre-existing paint issues, such as chips, scratches, or poor-quality repairs, which may become more visible after PPF installation.

  • Minor imperfections, such as trapped dust or small alignment variations, are normal within industry standards for PPF.

  • PPF edges may lift over time if not properly maintained. Customers must follow aftercare instructions to ensure optimal performance.

  • Removing PPF, whether by us or another party, may result in paint or clear coat damage, particularly on previously repaired or repainted surfaces.

5. Ceramic Coating Specific Terms

  • Ceramic coating is designed to enhance the vehicle's finish but does not guarantee protection from scratches, chips, or other physical damage.

  • Proper maintenance, including regular washes with pH-neutral soap and avoiding abrasive products, is required to maintain the coating’s performance and longevity.

  • Pre-existing paint imperfections or defects may remain visible after ceramic coating application unless additional paint correction services are performed.

6. Damage Discovery During Service

  • After we wash and prep your vehicle, additional damage may become visible. If any such damage is discovered, we will notify you immediately.

7. Customer Responsibility

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any known damage, mechanical issues (e.g., battery performance), or prior repairs before the start of service.
