Meet the Owner, Angel Calvo
The Automotive Industry definitely runs in the family, growing up my siblings and I spent the majority of our years watching our dad grow his business with 1 box of film in the back of his truck up. In 2013 I would work at my dad’s shop after my full time job helping him wash vehicles, quality checking the installs, writing up vehicles, processing payments and assisting customers. His shop was later acquired by one of the best leading automotive film companies called XPEL in 2015.
I came on board with XPEL full time in 2019 as the service coordinator for XPEL San Antonio, then became the first Team Lead Service Coordinator assisting XPEL’s corporate stores around the US by creating numerous processes, procedures, training manuals and more for installation shops. I honestly never thought I’d love the industry as much as I did, come 2020 I was promoted to the Austin store where I worked as their service coordinator until my manager promoted me in 2022, thus becoming the first female with the title of an; XPEL Store Manager in the US for XPEL. All I wanted was to show everyone that XPEL Austin could be just as good as their other stores and sure enough, my team hit the highest revenue of all XPEL corporate stores in 2023. I ran a successful shop, met great people along the way and built some amazing friendships.
I am beyond excited for my next journey now that I have 8 years of experience in the Automotive Industry, installing with the same quality and service;

Traveling Installer, Camden Cox
Camden has over 6 years experience working in the automotive industry, he brings detail expertise and handles the day to day operations for our PPF department. Camden is XPEL Certified Paint Protection Film and XPEL Fusion Certified in October 2020, which has resulted in him building a portfolio installing on higher end luxury vehicles. Camden made it his mission to never be afraid of a specific make vehicle, he’s installed more Lamborghini’s in a year and his eye for detail helps his customers trust him with their vehicle.
Traveling Installer, Devi Calvo
Devi comes to Austin Film Solutions with over 3+years experience installing paint protection film. Devi also spent the majority of her beginning years watching our dad grow his business, leading her into the install world where she earned her XPEL Certified Paint Protection Film certificate and has installed in some of the most elite installation shops around the US, including our brothers, Mark Customs in Boerne, TX. Devi is a world traveling installer, people come to the shop all the time to meet her and ask fly her around to install at their shops. I am lucky to have my sister at my shop helping me install.
Traveling Installer, Matthew Ortega
Matt has over 6+years experience installing in the automotive world, with 2 certificates; XPEL Certified Paint Protection Film and XPEL Certified Window Tinter. Matt spent the last 3 years working at XPEL Austin pushing quality over quantity that helped him advance his skills to not only be of the most elite installers of that install shop but to also show others that you can grow if you have enough passion. Matt has grown in the industry and was always chosen to be apart of XPEL’s Dealer Conference judges/proctors. Matt continued to go through every door that was opened for him because he wanted to be the best he could be as an installer and now Austin Film Solutions is blessed to have him as a traveling installer.
